International Weekend, Houilles, May 2007
Chesham Town Mayor Merrin Molesworth and Mayor of Houilles Alexandre Joly join to plant a shrub in the Parc Charles de Gaulles to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the twinning of the two towns.
During the International Weekend in Chesham the previous year Houilles presented us with a park bench that was sited in the Rue de Houilles through Lowndes Park.
Cultural Weekend, Chesham, October 2007
Visitors from Houilles and Friedrichsdorf seen with Chesham hosts on a visit to Hampton Court Palace, the highlight of the weekend. The original plan had beena visit to the All-England Tennis Club at Wimbledon but this had to be changed as Great Britian staged a Davis Cup match there - on the same weekend - for the first time in 12 years.
